Read to Feed Update
Thank you to the students who participated in the “Read to Feed” program this summer! We raised $150 for Heifer International to send a gift of livestock to needy families around the world. The students who participated were able to vote on the animal gifts to send. The majority chose a goat and honeybees. A dairy goat can thrive in extreme climates and supply a family with up to a gallon of milk a day. Honeybees and a hive provide families with better crops, candle wax, pollen for medicine, and honey to eat and sell. Students like you have the power to change the world!
